This year, CARITAS has reached a critical point in its growth and needs to expand its staff to better serve our sponsors and increase our capacity to serve more brothers and sisters in need.

To achieve this, we need two new full-time positions:

• A Director of Fundraising

• A Director of Ministry and Development (EDMD)

The Director of Fundraising position is critical because it takes a lot of resources (equipment, software, and employee salaries) to operate a successful global nonprofit organization. The Director of Fundraising will be responsible for getting us those resources from large foundations that align with our ministry.

The EDMD position is vital because we need a deacon, priest, or religious brother/sister to be the face of our ministry. This person will preach, lead mission trips, and become a major part of our communications team. They will help more people to become aware of our ministry and join our CARITAS family.

We know these are both key positions for our ministry to exist and thrive for another 25 years, but frankly, we are unable to afford them at this time.

We generally ask for help on behalf of the poorest of the poor, but this year, we humbly ask for help on behalf of the CARITAS organization so that we can hire these staff members in 2024.
