Richard Lubyayi is a 24-year-old Ugandan from Masaka, born into a humble family with strong Christian roots. He is the seventh born out of nine children. Throughout his childhood, Simon was deeply inspired by the Catholic faith from an early age. His spiritual journey began in primary school when he admired the altar servers and was moved by the teachings of his parish priest. He joined the altar boys, later became a member of the church choir, and even taught catechism during school holidays. His devotion to the Catholic faith and missionary spirit has continued to grow over the years.
Richard Lubyayi is studying his philosophical studies at St. Thomas Aquinas National Seminary Katigondo. This program is a critical part of his preparation for priesthood, equipping him with the spiritual and intellectual formation required to faithfully serve the Church and community. However, his family is facing a lot of financial constraints to meet all his education bills since the family rely on subsistence farming.
We kindly appeal for your generous support to help Richard continue his studies without interruption. Your assistance will not only ease the financial burden on his community but also empower him to focus fully on his academic and spiritual journey. With your help, Richard will be better prepared to answer his call to serve the poor, the youth, and the most vulnerable members of society as a future priest. Your contribution will truly be a seed planted in good soil, helping nurture a devoted servant of God.
