Emmanuel Njawuzi, a devoted 22-year-old young man from Lwengo District in central Uganda, has faithfully responded to God’s call to religious life. He is the first-born child, out of the eight children. Coming from a poor family background, his journey has not been easy, but his commitment to becoming a priest remains strong and unwavering. For tuition, he struggles during the holidays looking for possible work to do, he combine efforts with his young sisters to cater for the school requirements on the saved money they earn from the casual work they do on people’s farms.

His mum and dad are aged; cannot afford to sustain his education bills. They can only cater for home sustainability and sometimes fail. Emmanuel has been joyfully accepted to begin his philosophical studies at St. Mbaaga National Seminary. However, he is currently facing serious financial constraints and is unable to cover the full cost of his education. Without your kind support, Emmanuel may not be able to start or complete this important level.

We humbly appeal to you, dear friends in Christ, to support Emmanuel in answering God’s call. Your generous contribution will directly provide for his tuition and accommodation, enabling him to focus fully on his spiritual and academic growth.

About my community:
St. Teresa of Calcutta (Masaka)
In the Masaka Diocese, CARITAS finds many abandoned and orphaned children living with relatives in destitute poverty. Since the hardship, there is so extreme, and our sponsors bring so much hope and love to these families, we have chosen St. Teresa of Calcutta to be the patron saint of this community.
About my country:
Uganda
Known as the "Pearl of Africa," Uganda is located on the shores of Lake Victoria in the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Since emerging from decades of civil war and the devastation of AIDs, estimates indicate that 48% of Uganda's population is below the age of 15. Young children suffer disproportionately in the struggle to access healthcare, education, and clean water.
