Bring Hope This Easter
Last year during Lent, CARITAS invited our sponsors, donors, and friends to live out the spirit of almsgiving in a meaningful and life-changing way.
As Christians, Lent calls us to prayer, fasting, and charity, and one of the most direct ways we can serve others is by helping families who struggle daily to meet their most basic needs.
Because of the hundreds of beautiful stories from last year, CARITAS decided to re-launch the Easter Food Basket Campaign, an initiative designed to provide essential food supplies to the poorest families during the week of Easter. .jpg)
For just $75, you can feed a family of five for an entire week, ensuring they have nourishing meals as they celebrate Easter.
While Easter is a season of joy and renewal, many of the families we serve live in extreme poverty where daily meals are uncertain. Meat is rarely affordable, and a celebration meal is almost unheard of.
Just like last year, CARITAS is committed to serving 200 of the poorest families in our program.
Families will be welcomed to our CARITAS Center to receive their baskets, just as they did last year. For those who cannot travel due to distance or hardship, our team will bring the Easter baskets directly to their homes.
This personal delivery ensures that every family receives not only food but also encouragement and the love of Christ.
Each Easter food basket is carefully assembled to provide a week’s worth of meals and includes both essential staples and small treats that make the holiday special.
Your support does more than provide meals. It brings dignity, hope, and the reassurance that these families are not forgotten.
You can help by donating $75 to feed one family for seven days, sponsoring multiple families, or sharing this mission with others.
Every basket delivered is an act of love and a reminder that even small sacrifices can make a lasting difference.
This Lent, help us fill homes with food, hearts with hope, and Easter tables (or simple floor mats) with love. Donate today and help make Easter a true celebration for families in need.
