Ronald, the fifth child among nine siblings, aspires to be a teacher to aid underprivileged children in his village who, like him, face financial barriers to education. Residing with his parents, whose health is gradually declining due to extensive labor in the garden and limited harvests, Ronald's family struggles to make ends meet. The yields from their small farm primarily sustain their own sustenance, leaving little to sell for additional necessities, particularly education expenses.

Observing Ronald's unwavering commitment to learning, local nuns took notice of his presence by the school fence, watching other children play. Moved by his determination, they embraced him within their institution, providing partial support to facilitate his attendance in some classes. Despite their assistance, their resources remain insufficient to fully cover his educational journey.

Ronald's unyielding passion for education and devotion to learning has not gone unnoticed by the nuns and his family. Together, they seek assistance from Caritas For Children, aiming to secure the support he requires to fulfill his aspiration of becoming a teacher. By extending help to Ronald, you're contributing not only to his personal growth but also to the potential transformation of his entire community through education.

About my country:
Uganda
Known as the "Pearl of Africa," Uganda is located on the shores of Lake Victoria in the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Since emerging from decades of civil war and the devastation of AIDs, estimates indicate that 48% of Uganda's population is below the age of 15. Young children suffer disproportionately in the struggle to access healthcare, education, and clean water.
