Oluebube comes from a loving family that is working hard to overcome financial challenges. His father, Everestus Eze, supports the family as a carpenter and does everything he can to provide for his wife and three sons. However, rising living costs and ongoing economic difficulties have made it increasingly difficult for his income to cover the family’s basic needs.

To help support the household, Oluebube’s mother takes on occasional odd jobs whenever work is available. Despite the efforts of both parents, the family often struggles to make ends meet and provide for educational expenses.

Oluebube’s parents are deeply committed to giving their children the opportunity to succeed through education. They hope their sons will be able to remain in school and build a future free from the hardships they currently face.

Oluebube is a smart, determined, and hardworking boy who values his education and enjoys learning alongside his peers. With the support of a sponsor, he would be able to continue his studies and pursue the brighter future he dreams of achieving.

About my community:
St. Maria Goretti (Nsukka)
For a long time, the Diocese of Nsukka has suffered from kidnapping and slaughter at the hands of multiple terrorist groups. As CARITAS provides a Catholic education to these suffering young children, we pray for the intercession of St. Maria Goretti to help them be courageous and holy in spite of all their difficulties.
About my country:
Nigeria
On the coast of West Africa, Nigeria is the most populous country on the?continent and is home to more than 500 diverse ethnic groups. The country is split between top and bottom by a religious divide of Christians and Muslims. Its people have suffered much during the Ebola epidemic and at the hands of terrorist groups, both in the past and even into the present.
