Madina stays with her parents and siblings and all the members of the family make a total of seven people in a home. Her father is a peasant farmer who grows crops like bananas, coffee, beans , maize and keeps some few domestic animals like chicken, goats and pigs.

Her mother is a housewife and all she does is to look after the family and some domestic animals. She has a small stall Infront of their house where food crops such as tomatoes, beans are sold

Basically, the home is experiencing a little bit of poverty. This is because they depend solely on harvests  from the garden yet they are seasonal. Getting employed in Uganda is  just a nightmare as there are no jobs. Citizens are encouraged to be job makers.

Madina is a promising girl academically and if any assistance is extended to her she will be able to work hard so as to realize her dream of being a doctor
