Lilian lives with her mother and six siblings after her father abandoned the family, leaving her mother to care for the children on her own.

To provide for her family, Lilian’s mother works in other people’s gardens whenever work is available. A friend also gave her a small piece of land where she grows food to help feed her children. Although she works very hard, her income is not enough to consistently cover school fees and other educational expenses for such a large family.

Lilian was previously supported through the CARITAS For Children sponsorship program, which helped her remain in school. Unfortunately, she recently lost her sponsorship and is now at risk of having her education interrupted.

Despite the challenges they face, Lilian and her siblings remain hopeful and prayerful. Lilian is determined to continue her education and dreams of becoming a doctor one day so that she can help others in her community.

With the support of a sponsor, Lilian would have the opportunity to stay in school, continue pursuing her dreams, and build a brighter future for herself and her family.
