Grace lives with her grandmother and her sister, Jane, after her parents' struggles with alcoholism left them unable to care for their children. Following the recent passing of her grandfather, Grace's elderly grandmother became the family's sole caregiver.

Because of her age, Grace's grandmother is unable to earn a steady income, making it difficult to provide for the family's daily needs and school expenses. Although Grace was able to begin the school year, financial challenges meant she could only attend for a short time before being sent home due to unpaid fees.

Grace has a strong desire to learn and hopes to return to school as soon as possible. She dreams of becoming a nurse and is eager to continue her education. With the support of a sponsor, Grace would be able to return to the classroom and work toward achieving her goal.
