George’s father and all his relatives are not known apart from his mother who takes care of him. The mother says she met a man (Goerge's father) in the village where she was moving around to look for jobs, the man took advantage of her not having shelter and stayed with her for four years without showing her any relative or where he was born. One day, she went to work in someone's garden and on her coming back, she only found her baby and the man had gone with everything out of the room they were renting and since then, about 9 years, no communication and no information about him or relatives. Mother remained a single parent who doesn’t have a specific job, she just does peasant work for them to get some food/money for home consumption. This makes it difficult for the mother to pay school fees for George since she doesn’t earn much.
