Felix Basajja
Felix lives with his family in a small two-room house with an old, leaky roof that becomes especially difficult during the rainy season. His parents do their best to provide by taking on odd jobs like cleaning compounds and farm work, but the work is irregular and often unavailable.
Because of this financial instability, it's hard for them to meet the family's basic needs—especially school fees. Felix and his siblings often miss school, which affects their learning and progress.
With support through CARITAS For Children, Felix could attend school consistently and move closer to reaching his goals.

St. Francis of Assisi (Lugazi)
In the Lugazi Diocese, CARITAS finds some of the poorest families in all of Uganda. Because of St. Francis of Assisi's great love for the poor, he is the patron of this community. We pray for his intercession so that more children in this diocese have a chance to overcome the poverty that they have always known.
