Elisa is a cheerful and kind-hearted young boy who lives with his parents and six siblings. His parents, both peasant farmers, are deeply committed to their children’s well-being and dream of giving them an education. Unfortunately, their limited income—earned from working their own land and occasionally in other people’s gardens—is just enough to cover food, rent, clothing, and medical expenses.

Despite the hardships at home, Elisa remains joyful and especially loves playing soccer with his brothers, neighbors, and classmates. Elisa has been under support of CARITASfor children for several years till recently when he lost his long term sponsor. He need an immediate support if he is to stay in school and with support, Elisa can attend school consistently and focus on learning and building friendships, free from the burden of his family's financial struggles.
