Diana’s parents were unable to afford to keep all their children in school, and her father didn’t think it necessary to educate girls since he believed they would only end up as housewives. Because of this, she had missed out on two years in school.
Thankfully, her grandmother disagreed with this attitude and brought Diana to live with her so that she could send her to school. While she tries very hard to make enough money to pay the tuition feeds, Diana’s grandmother has been struggling to afford it. She has been worried that she might have to pull Diana from school or send her back to her parents, but she has been hopefully that God will provide for them.
Diana needs a sponsorship to stay in school and ease the burden on her grandmother, who wants very much for her to grow up to be self-sufficient and make a better life for herself. Diana hopes to become a nurse when she grows up.
