Deborah Chinenye comes from a family facing significant financial hardship. When she was just five years old, her father passed away, leaving her mother to raise and provide for the family on her own.

Since then, Deborah’s mother has worked tirelessly to care for her children. To earn enough for food and other basic necessities, she and her five children collect recyclable materials and scrap items from the streets to sell. Despite their hard work, meeting the family’s daily needs remains a constant challenge.

Deborah is a bright and determined child who loves learning. Although financial difficulties have interrupted her education, she longs to return to school and continue her studies.
