Annet’s life has been marked by hardship, yet she remains a bright and determined young girl with a dream of becoming a nurse.

Her mother, Maria, was abandoned by Annet's father during pregnancy and has since worked tirelessly to provide for them both. She earns a small and unreliable income by selling firewood and food along the roadside. Maria herself had to leave school at a young age because of unpaid fees and faced rejection from her family when she became pregnant. Despite these painful experiences, she has persevered and continues to do everything she can to support her daughter.

Annet has been supported through CARITAS For Children until recently, when she lost her sponsorship. She is now in urgent need of assistance to return to school.

With support, Annet can continue her education, pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, and build a brighter future for herself and her mother.
