Jordan Mwebesa
Jordan's family is facing significant challenges since his father's passing in 2021. His mother has taken on the role of the family's sole provider, but she struggles to make ends meet. She is unemployed and relies on odd jobs like washing clothes for others to earn a meager income. Her lack of formal education and skills makes it difficult to secure a stable job.
Despite these difficulties, Jordan is a motivated and diligent young boy with aspirations of becoming a lawyer. He is determined to make a positive impact and rise above the current challenges his family faces. His dreams are fueled by a desire to uplift his mother from the hardships she's experiencing.

Uganda
Known as the "Pearl of Africa," Uganda is located on the shores of Lake Victoria in the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Since emerging from decades of civil war and the devastation of AIDs, estimates indicate that 48% of Uganda's population is below the age of 15. Young children suffer disproportionately in the struggle to access healthcare, education, and clean water.
