Fulgencio has recently lost his sponsor, and badly needs a new one so that he can continue his education.

Fulgencio’s father abandoned his family, leaving his mother to care for their six children alone. She is a peasant farmer and digs in their small garden for food for the family, and digs in the gardens of other people to earn some extra money. She is able to provide for their basic needs but has been unable to send them to school on her own.

Fulgencio needs a sponsor if he’s going to be able to complete his education. He is inspired to become a priest when he grows up, and he will need to finish his primary and secondary levels if he is going to have a chance of following his vocation to the priesthood!

For Fulgencio to go to boarding school, he needs $90/month from one sponsor, or $45/month from two sponsors.
