Christine Namulindwa
Christine recently lost her longtime sponsor and urgently needs a new one to continue her boarding school education.
After her father passed away, Christine's mother, who is HIV-positive, was left to care for Christine and her three sisters. Due to her illness, Christine's mother struggles to work and is unable to afford their education.
Boarding school provides Christine with stability, proper care, and the opportunity for a brighter future. Inspired by her mother's struggles, Christine dreams of becoming a nurse so she can help those suffering from HIV/AIDS in Uganda. Sponsorship will enable her to stay in school and pursue this noble goal.

Since emerging from decades of civil war and the devastation of AIDs, estimates indicate that 48% of Uganda’s population is below the age of 15. Young children suffer disproportionately in the struggle to access healthcare, education, and clean water.
