Christmas Joy Shared Together

Thanks to your support, 137 families received Christmas food baskets and toys, bringing nourishment, dignity, and joy to children and parents who otherwise would have gone without.

A Christmas Reached With Love

In the days leading up to Christmas, families came to our CARITAS office to receive their food baskets and toys. Smiles, laughter, and gratitude filled the air as parents carried home meals that would feed their families through the Christmas season, and children clutched toys with wonder and excitement.

For other families living in more remote areas who were unable to travel, our team went to them, delivering food and toys directly to their homes. No family was forgotten.

Real Toys, Real Joy

For many of the children, this was the first time in their lives they had ever received a new toy.

In Uganda, children often create toys from what they can find...plastic bottles, bamboo, string, and scraps. 

Their creativity is inspiring, but this Christmas, they experienced something new: a real toy, given as a gift, simply because they are loved.

The joy on their faces told the story better than words ever could.

Food for Families, Dignity for the Season

Each Christmas food basket provided families with enough food to enjoy delicious meals throughout the Christmas season.

Parents expressed deep gratitude, not only for the food itself, but for the relief of knowing their children would not go hungry during a time meant for celebration.

This support brought more than meals. It brought peace, dignity, and togetherness.
