Make a Difference Today

Child sponsorship is all about making a long term difference in the life of a child. Through your sponsorship you are empowering a child to make a better life for themselves and their community, allowing them to break out of the cycle of poverty and despair. 

Specifically, a sponsorship provides financial assistance for the health, education and general welfare of orphaned and disadvantaged children. Through child sponsorship you are providing children with an opportunity for a quality education, daily meals, clothing, and medical care. Without sponsorship they would not have access this opportunity.

Your child will attend a Catholic school, run by the local religious, indigenous men and women who understand the particular needs related to the child.

The cost for sponsorship depends upon the type of program you select:

Day School Program

If you select the Primary Day Program, then for a  $1 dollar a day, $30 a month, tax deductible, your child will receive all the costs necessary for a Catholic day-school education program, as well as:

  • Daily nurturing guidance from our Sisters their Lay Associates and staff
  • Two meals per day
  • School uniform and other available clothing
  • Books and educational supplies
  • Basic medical support
  • Clean drinking water
  • Counseling and religious instruction
  • ...and more

Boarding School Program

 If you select the Full Boarding School Program then for $2.80 per day, $85 per month, tax deductible, your child will receive all the costs necessary to attend a full boarding school program run and staffed by Catholic Sisters.

Most of the children at these homes are orphans. Those with no place to live demand a higher level of services than others. The CARITAS For Children comprehensive boarding school that provides a 24 hour 7 day a week care for these children.  All the possible needs - personal and spiritual - are taken care of, including all of the benefits listed above, as well as:

  • Annual Tuition
  • All personal and incidental expenses
  • Transportation
  • Medical services
  • All clothing expenses
