While our Catholic religious partners dedicate their entire lives to helping these children, there is something you can do right where you live, in just a few hours a week to have a real impact on global poverty.
A Caritas Liaison can change the world
Simply put, a Liaison For CARITAS helps orphaned and other disadvantaged children find hope by helping find them sponsors. Connecting sponsors with needy children is a rewarding way to spend your time, and it is easy to do.- Create a network of individuals who are interested in providing a modest monthly sponsorship stipend to save a child’s life.
- Help the interested parties through the sponsorship process.
- Introduce the CARITAS for Children program to local church and other communities of faith leadership
- Give presentations to local organizations on the benefits of sponsorship.
- Attend annual Liaison For CARITAS for meetings.
- Provide feedback to CARITAS on the effectiveness of its marketing materials.
YOU CAN BE A CARITAS LIAISON!
In just a few hours a week you can be the lifeline between a poor child and his or her future. Our network of volunteer Liaisons is the primary distribution channel for the hundreds of needy children who come to our programs in Africa looking for help. Our CARITAS Liaisons are the “Elite Forces” in the battle against poverty, disease and hopelessness.
