CARITAS For Children Partner Artist - Speaker Program

The CARITAS For Children Partner Artists/Speaker Program is about Being a Voice for the Children. As an artist/speaker, you have a forum and a medium that reaches thousands through your music and ministry. Your message is one of Faith, Hope and Love in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are over 2 million children in the world, over half of whom live in poverty, have no forum or medium for their voices to be heard. In becoming an Artist Partner with CARITAS for Children you become that voice that brings hope.

Who is CARITAS For Children?

CARITAS for Children was formed as a non-profit organization in 1998 and is an officially recognized Catholic Apostolate. CARITAS’ mission is to build relationships between these children in desperate need and sponsor families who donate spiritually and financially to the caring of these children. In a CARITAS For Children sponsorship program the child will receive food, an education, clothing, medical assistance and housing. CARITAS’ program helps the parents care for their child or children, preventing in some cases, children being sold into “slavery” due to the parents’ inability to support and educate them. With this help, families will remain intact and communities will flourish creating an even larger impact in Building the Kingdom of God.

CARITAS works exclusively in direct partnership with indigenous Catholic religious congregations of men and women in the locations where their program exists. These dedicated men and women help bring God’s “CARITAS” love directly to the people they serve. We respect the fact that not all of the children we work with come from a Catholic family and CARITAS does not require anyone to Catholic to participate in our programs. Rather, we insist only that our partners be a witness of God’s love by loving one another (John 15) through their examples to the children and communities they serve.

How can you help?

CARITAS For Children is looking for artists who are willing to help us raise awareness of CARITAS’ mission.
