Joy’s parents did not receive much education themselves. They now have six children and struggle to provide for them as peasant farmers. They have a small garden where they grow food for the family, but they don’t have enough income to send their children to school.

Joy’s parents want their children to be successful and achieve their dreams! They would especially love it if Joy is able to become a teacher when she grows up, which is what she hopes to do. She is a responsible little girl and will work hard if given the chance to get a good education through sponsorship.
