Monica lives with her father, step-mother, three siblings and with her four cousins whose parents died. Her mother left the family some years ago and her father remarried. The father is currently struggling to care for the big family and same time supporting them in school as some have dropped out of school. The father's major job is peasantry and he some time do gardening in other people's gardens to supplement what he produces so that he feeds his family. He does all this with Monica's step-mom. While other children have not been able to regularly attend school, Monica got an opportunity of CARITAS sponsorship for seven years now and she is doing well in school irrespective of the challenges at home unfortunately she recently lost her sponsor and is need of a new sponsor to help her continue her studies.
