Nicholas’ father abandoned the family, he doesn’t support and provide anything at home instead the little money he earns he spends it on drinking. Mother got Covid and almost sold all they had to pay the hospital bills and fortunately she survived but was left with nothing at home. Since Nicholas’ mother dropped out of school in S.4 and has no many skills that she acquired that may help her get a job, she now does peasantry farming and what she grows can only help in feeding the family so she finds it hard to get money to pay for her children’s school fees. Nicholas is very hardworking and bright boy whose dream is to become a doctor in future if he gets a chance of completing his studies.
